I want to start a new custom concept design project that I have never done before. This hot rod project would combine all my knowledge and experience. I have written a paragraph about my first ideas for this and used A.I. to enlarge them. (No A.I. will be used on the modeling and rendering progress.) I also used Pinterest and Google Images.
A 1939 Ford Truck! I’ll use only the middle cabin while crafting unique custom parts, especially for the mechanics and frame.
Since I think the frame is the car’s skeleton, I want to make the parts look like animal bones (and yes, every part except the cabin and maybe some engine parts will be white).
I have already started designing and modeling the suspension arms in SolidWorks and the Ford cabin in Alias. (This is just a concept, but I want to keep it as realistic as possible.) The firewall can be light pink to reflect such a type of flesh. I have done two different suspension arm designs, but none look like the one I’m looking for. I’m looking for something more natural and thrilling.
For the cabin, I might choose a dark negative gray (bluish) like a sea animal. I haven’t decided on the rims but plan to use deep-dish ones. I also plan to use some fur and leather combinations for the interior.
But I don’t want this to look like a Hot Wheels car at the end (we all know it will look like one). So, the bone-looking mechanical parts will have only the vibe, not the exact replication of the shape.
For the engine (which will also be modeled)(I have modeled a Hayabusa engine before; one hell of brain-freezing progress, and I don’t know why I’m doing this to myself again.) I plan to use V(8 or 10) to make the exhaust manifold resemble a rib cage. In the end, I don’t want this thing to look like something out of a zombie apocalypse, so I think there will be a lot of trials and errors. But I want this thing to look like you can showcase it in an animal skeleton museum.
I'm really excited about how this fourth design turned out after experimenting with three different models in SolidWorks! To appreciate its uniqueness, be sure to check out my earlier post. It beautifully combines custom and bone aesthetics. I can’t wait to continue working on the mechanical components so I can share the complete vision with you all soon! Stay tuned for more updates!
